Heavy Forklifts
Hyundai is targeting a new customer base with their new array of heavy forklift trucks. Various businesses, from the concrete and natural stone businesses, to the steel industry, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all relying on and working with heavy duty machines. The efficiency and power provided by the models keep operational costs low and provide the best conditions for efficient work. These types of machines can excel in the most demanding settings.
The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp offers the required power on all of the large capacity units. TierIII emission standards are met with engines which have 6 cylinders. These types of forklifts can take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It can climb on steep slopes and rough terrain and provides great acceleration too.
The operator can use a switch in order to choose 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or difficult terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks can save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Moreover, just by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving function. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the equipment comfortable to use and easy to maneuver.
The well-ventilated cabin provides a spacious and comfortable working place. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps make sure that the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was ergonomically designed to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the overall safety of the unit. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on offering the nice atmosphere that Hyundai machinery are supposed to have.
