End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are quite similar to sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation environments which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an ideal option for applications that require regular on and off access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
Lots of businesses used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading equipments can arrange finished products on pallets and supplies to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for those who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need yet in an efficient and safe way.
The basic reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also have a hydraulic setup that allows the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only offers much more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
