Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and developed like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures so as to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being engineered and made all the time and will debut in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
